An ICU nurse manager is having concerns regarding summer scheduling. The manager discusses concerns during a nursing administration meeting. The CNO (chief nurse officer) asks the nursing management what solutions they have to address this issue.

solutions that are designed to meet the needs of the department.
Nurses do not want to work rotations. Fixed shifts will not allow for creativity and are not a
solution to the problem. Job sharing may benefit the schedule but there is not enough
