A nurse manager is conducting an interview with a potential candidate. The manager asks the candidate questions about her family, such as how many children she has and if she plans on having more children in the future.
 
  The candidate does not answer the question. Why would the candidate not answer these questions? 1. The candidate is considering becoming pregnant in the near future.
  2. The candidate is unable to conceive children.
  3. The candidate knows these types of questions are illegal.
  4. The candidate is uncertain as to how to answer the question.
