framework for instruction. These nine elements/events of instruction are as follows: gain attention,
inform the learner of the objective, stimulate recall of prerequisite learning, present stimulus materials,
provide learning guidance, elicit performance (not implement performance), provide feedback, assess
performance, and enhance retention and transfer.
