Answer to Question 1

ANS: B
Older adults often take high-risk medications and cannot read instructions for medications. This is also complicated by polypharmacy and not understanding how to take medications that have been prescribed for them. Many older adults are competent in taking their own medications, are motivated to take it correctly, and do not need additional assistance.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
The major stressor for an APHN is likely to be professional isolation, because they are likely to be hired in remote practice employment sites. Autonomy of practice in these sites attracts many NPs and APHNs. Long drives, long hours, lack of social and cultural activities, and lack of oppor-tunity for professional development are often experienced.
