Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
A critique that states that the title provided the study's focus without becoming lengthy evaluates the title on the factors that are important and tells the reader that it did what it was supposed to do.
It is not incumbent on a research report to create a catchy title.
Taken alone, this statement does not give enough explanation as to why to title is too long and/or suggest an alternative.
A critique of the title that states that the title was much too long but accurately conveyed the content does not give enough information to represent a thorough critique.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
The definition For purposes of this study, the self-concept will be defined as the subject's score on the Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept scale operationalizes the concept into a measurable format that is clear to the reader.
The definition Each individual will be given an overview of the concept of the self and asked to write a definition telling about his or her own self-concept does not provide an operational definition per se in a quantitative study.
Although Self-concept is an individual's view of himself and/or herself. It is the positive and negative feelings of self-definition and self-worth and factors that are important to the self would be a possible conceptual definition, it does not define the concept into a measurable format that is clear to the reader.
The definition Self-concept will be measured as positive or negative is far from complete. It gives the reader almost no information.
