While economic development can be quite positive in many ways, there are also deleterious effects. Many of these include
 
  a. lower rates of depression.
  b. increased cell-phone use.
  c. decreased automobile usage and less traffic fatilities.
  d. much desired spam mail because of e-mail usage.
  e. stress, depression, and dependency on technology.
