ANSWER:
It is the belief that plants, animals, and inanimate objects are imbued with spirit. It is associated with less stratified societies.

ANSWER:
This religion developed around a prophet figure (Handsome Lake) who experienced spiritual visitations meant to help direct his people towards a more syncretic cultureone better adapted to the surrounding White/Western culture.
