Answer to Question 1

It is the transformation of adopted cultural traits, resulting in new cultural forms. One example is the Arab Spring, in which Middle Eastern young people used social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to bring to light the political and social repression occurring in their countries.

Answer to Question 2

Culture changes through innovation and also diffusion.
