Answer to Question 1

B, C, D

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Although the client may be pleased with her apparent improvement, following chronic constipation, it can be a danger signal. The primary care provider would most likely suspect hyperthyroidism based on the age and the unexplained change in the bowel habits; the other conditions are not related to increased bowel peristalsis.
