Narcotics cause constipation, not diarrhea. Responses B, C, and D all have diarrhea as a potential side effect. Iron can also be constipating.

A
Patients should be taught to uncross legs, avoid constricting clothing, avoid temperature extremes, avoid infections, use cotton socks and properly fitting shoes, and avoid tape and salve to the area. Red wine has no bearing on PVD.
