Answer to Question 1

A
MI is a disease of the blood vessels that supply the heart with blood, nutrients, and oxygen. Blood vessels often become occluded with a cholesterol plaque. Response B, the heart stops pumping blood, can be a result of the MI. Response C can be a normal aging change or a residual side effect of scarlet fever. Occlusion of the vena cava and pulmonary veins (D) is incorrect. The vena cava and pulmonary arteries work with the pumping function of the heart. It is uncommon to have this type of occlusion.

Answer to Question 2

D
Religion and personal values should not prevent access to rehabilitation. Finances (insurance) could potentially limit access.
