Answer to Question 1

Ans: B, C
Signs and symptoms of hyperthermia include warm, dry skin, and weakness. Skin surfaces are not typically pale and heart rate typically increases, not decreases. Sweating may be minimal or absent.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: A
The fever response in older adults is often muted. Changes in thermoregulation do not contribute directly to skin breakdown, orthostatic hypotension, or impaired protein synthesis.
