Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Laughter creates predictable physiological changes in the body in a manner similar to exercise. Laughter exercises the diaphragm and the cardiovascular system and has even been referred to as internal jogging.. The body responds to laughter like it does to exercise, in two stages:
1 . The arousal phase, with an increase in physiological measures including pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
2 . The resolution phase, during which physiological measures return to resting values or lower values, creating a relaxation response.
Researchers hypothesize that although laughter invokes a form of stress, it is different in effect from the stress that results in an increase in stress hormones and in a compromised immune system. Laughter seems to create the positive stress known as eustress. Laughter is associated with a release of tension and an increase in the natural mood-lifters known as endorphinsmood-elevating, pain-relieving chemicals produced naturally by the brain.

There can actually be a 25-hour time difference between certain locations in the world. The International Date Line passes between the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
