Answer to Question 1

Slows it down.

Answer to Question 2

End meditation by returning slowly to normal consciousness. Give yourself two or three full minutes to quietly sit in your chair, enjoying the peacefulness of the experience. This may sound trivial, but it is important. Take your time when you are returning. Don't be in a rush to end your meditation sessions Otherwise, you may feel out of balance and irritated.
