Answer to Question 1

Technostress refers to feelings of dependence, incompetence, anxiety and frustration related to the use of technology. Technology can contribute to stress by encouraging continuous partial attention, as a result of constant connectivity. Another result of technology is multitasking madness - a phenomenon which reveals how constant technological interruptions (e.g. phone calls, text messages, emails) produce a surge in dopamine, and yet negatively affect focus.
