Answer to Question 1

Planning involves arranging future events in the way that we prefer. When we plan something, we use our imagination constructively to create a future reality. When we worry about something, we use our imagination destructively. Worry happens when we think of a future event and then, while that image is on our mind, we also add to the image some pain or discomfort that we believe will happen to us as part of that future event. We make up these thoughts and tend to spend our present moments dwelling on them. It is not a very useful way to spend our present moments.
