Environmental health is the relationship between humans and other organisms in their physical environment that allows them to survive and flourish. We depend upon the environment to sustain us, yet it can threaten our health and our survival.
Factors that threaten environmental health are temperature, pollution, exposure to lead and other toxic substances, and ultraviolet radiation.
