Answer to Question 1

FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Alcohol lowers inhibitions. People who are intoxicated are less likely to use safe sex practices and are more likely to engage in high-risk sexual activity. The chance of acquiring a sexually transmitted infection or of an unplanned pregnancy is increased. A person who is drunk or unconscious is not able to give consent to sex. Having sex with a person who is drunk or unconscious is considered rape and can be prosecuted as a crime.
