Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

The goal is to break down denial compassionately and get the addict to see how destructive the addition is to themselves and others. Once the addict admits that they have a problem, the next goal is to get them to agree to get help and treatment. Most addiction treatment centers have staff members who can help plan an intervention.
