Answer to Question 1

1. Following orgasm and resolution, many women can become aroused again and experience additional orgasms. However, most men experience a refractory period, during which their systems are incapable of subsequent arousal for a few minutes to several hours.
2. Although men and women experience the same stages in the sexual response cycle, the length of time spent in any one stage varies. Thus, one partner may be in the plateau phase while the other is in the excitement/arousal or orgasmic phase.

Answer to Question 2

FALSE

Dogs have been used in studies to detect various cancers in human subjects. They have been trained to sniff breath samples from humans that were collected by having them breathe into special tubes. The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
