Answer to Question 1

1. Outpatient behavioral treatment in which addicts visit a clinic at regular intervals
2. Residential treatment programs - inpatient treatment that can last weeks to months
3. 12-step programs - support group meetings such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous
4. Pharmacological treatments, typically as part of outpatient or residential treatment

Answer to Question 2

1. Acknowledge that you've gone through a difficult experience, and accept your feelings. Seek the help of friends and, if needed, professionals.
2. Let go of negative thought patterns and habits, and engage in activities that make you happy. For example, spend time with fun friends or volunteer with a community organization.
3. Don't rush into a rebound relationship. Give yourself time to heal.
