Answer to Question 1

The first use of technology is personal use. Personal technology use is highly relevant in the daily lives of teachers. Such uses include e-mail and writing letters and other documents. The second use is administrative. Technology used under this category helps to make the teacher's school life more efficient. Such uses include sending and receiving e-mails about meetings and announcements, creating worksheets, word processing documents, recording attendance and assessments, and grading. The final reason a teacher might use technology is for supporting classroom learning goals. This helps students find resources and perform procedures such as typing essays, encouraging students to produce, problem-solve, communicate, and to think critically and creatively.

Answer to Question 2
