Answer to Question 1

Answer: Chronic constriction and inflammation of the airways, making breathing difficult and causing shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness

Answer to Question 2

Answer: It asserts that early childhood exposure to microbes can prevent the development of allergies and that, conversely, reduced exposure to microbes can increase the chance of developing allergies. This may be due to the overuse of antiseptics and our health-conscious environment.
