Answer: Cancer is a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled reproduction of abnormal cells and, in some cases, the spread of these cells to other sites in the body. If the reproduction and spread of cancer cells is not checked, the person is likely to die.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: It is a measure of the strength of the relationship between known risk factors and the particular disorder. Examples should include known risks such as age, gender, and lifestyle habits and discuss how those effect the risk for a specific disorder.
