Assistive device include diverse hardware and software designed to support the needs of exceptional students (e.g., Braille, Scan/Read, Keyboard adaptations, Switches, Text-to-Speech, Audio books, Low tech adaptations, etc.).

Both students with disabilities and gifted students need adjustments to teaching and learning strategies to reach their full potential.
