Answer: Much like the difference between being overweight and obese, having a disordered eating habit is less problematic, but can lead to the more severe problem of having an eating disorder. For example extreme dieters are at a high risk of developing anorexia nervosa.

Answer: Answers should include several specific illustrations from the text showing how Americans, as well as the world's people, are gaining weight and suffering from the health risks that accompany weight gain.
