Answer to Question 1

Answer: Phospholipids are the least common. They are a key component of the cell membrane, which is the flexible wall that keeps the contents of your cells in place.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Nutrient-dense foods are foods that provide a high level of healthful nutrients for a low number of calories. An example is peanut butter with whole grain bread. Foods with empty calories are those that provide few or no nutrients from the calories and generally come from solid fats and/or added sugars. Examples of these are cookies, cakes, doughnuts, alcohol, hot dogs, soft drinks, and bacon.
