Answer:
1. Peel fruits and vegetables whenever possible, and remove and discard outer leaves of leafy vegetables.
2. Scrub all fresh fruits and vegetables thoroughly under running water.
3. Trim the fat from meat, and remove the fat from poultry because some pesticide residue collects in the fat.
4. Eat a variety of foods from various sources to reduce the risk of exposure to a single pesticide.

 Obtain adequate nutrients within caloric need.
 Focus on healthful foods.
 Watch your intake of fat.
 Choose carbohydrates wisely.
 Maintain proper levels of potassium and sodium.
 Manage your body weight.

 Use alcohol moderately, if at all.
 Be food safe.
