Answer to Question 1

A solo dental practice is owned and operated by one dentist who owns or leases the office building and all the necessary equipment and furnishings. A group dental practice is composed of two or more dentist practicing together. The group of dentists usually is incorporated as a legal entity, and the corporation owns and operates the business.
