Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

A new project called the Virtual Human Embryo is digitizing some of the 7,000 human embryos lost in miscarriages, which have been kept by the National Museum of Health and Medicine of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology since the 1880s. An embryo develops in 23 stages over the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. The project will include at least one embryo from each stage. The embryo will be sectioned and sliced. Each slice will be placed under a microscope, and digital images will be created. Users will be able to access the images on digital video disks (DVDs) and compact disks (CDs) and manipulate and study them.

Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
