Answer to Question 1

Direction - note the positive/support or negative/oppose direction of messages in the text.
Frequency - count whether something occurs in the text and how often. Intensity - measure the strength of a variable. Space - measure the size, volume and amount of time or physical space.
Prominence - where does the measure get the most attention.
