Discuss scientific misconduct. What is the difference between research fraud and plagiarism?

Tyler Jenson is a casino investor. He is thinking of building a casino in Iowa where there are several other successful casinos, but he is unsure about the local attitudes on gambling.

Answer to Question 1

Scientific misconduct is violating basic and accepted standards of honest scientific research. Research fraud and plagiarism are both considered scientific misconduct. Research fraud is inventing, falsifying or distorting study data or to lie about how a study was conducted. Plagiarism using another person's words or ideas without giving
them proper credit.
