Describe any geographic patterns you see in domestic water use per capita. What will be an ideal response?

Why might total water use per capita be a poor choice for comparing the
  amount of water used by people in diff erent states? What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. Domestic water use is generally higher in the West and Southeast.

Total water use involves usage beyond what is used by individuals in their homes. Some
states may have particular industries or agricultural activities that use large amounts
of water. For example, some states use water to grow crops that are sold and used
elsewhere.
