Sea-surface temperatures follow the seasons, with the warmest temperatures
extending farthest from the equator during the summer in each hemisphere.



Answer to Question 2

Dark red-brown represents the warmest water, at about 35 C (95 F). (Colors vary
slightly with monitor settings.)
