Answer to Question 1

Oceans97.2 of all Earth's water; 2.8 freshwater
Of the 2.8 freshwater, 69.9 is surface water and the remaining 30.1 is subsurface water (groundwater and soil moisture).
The majority of fresh surface water is in ice and glaciers; 0.3 in liquid, surface freshwater. Of this, 87 is in lakes, 11 swamps, and 2 rivers.
Of the ocean basins (97.22 of water), the Pacific Ocean holds the greatest volume of water, followed by the Atlantic, Indian, and Arctic Oceans.
All water resources are unevenly distributed, with the Southern Hemisphere being the oceanic hemisphere and the Northern Hemisphere being the land hemisphere (more or less)
