Answer to Question 1

Answer: Varies but should speak to displacement of population from land and ultimate movement into urban areas to work in factories. While it coincided with the Industrial Revolution, not all benefited equally.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Varies but should address key examples from Mesopotamia, Mediterranean settlements, and early medieval settlements.
