Answer to Question 1

C
Normal hydrostatic pressure in the pulmonary capillaries is 10 to 15 mm Hg.

Answer to Question 2

C
RDS causes alveolar atelectasis. This will be seen on the chest radiograph as a white density of the lung fields that will appear as a fine ground-glass appearance. Airway dilation and distortion are associated with bronchiectasis. Fluffy infiltrates in the bases of the lungs are commonly seen in a patient with pulmonary edema. Cardiomegaly is an enlarged heart and is associated with right- or left-sided heart failure.
