Answer to Question 1

Intake = 4 fluid ounces + 6 fluid ounces = 10 fluid ounces  30 = 300 mL
Output = 4 fluid ounces  30 = 120 mL

Answer to Question 2

Stop your co-worker from this invasion of privacy. Never enter a patient's room without knocking. It is disrespectful and, in this particular instance, a violation of the patients' privacy and dignity. The nurse should be made aware of the co-worker's actions. It is a myth that older persons cannot or should not have a fulfilling sex life. Older persons, just like their younger counterparts, desire intimacy, love, and companionship.
