Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
The nurse should evaluate whether the client can walk without assistance when assessing the client's functional ADLs. History of falls or unsteady gait, wandering off and getting lost, unexplained cuts and bruises, or several falls within the past year indicate difficulty with ambulation. Evaluating if the client can drive safely, take a bus without getting lost, or follow recipes is related to complex or instrumental ADLs, not functional ADLs.
