Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
Nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy removes the prostate through an incision below the umbilicus and above the symphysis pubis. This procedure causes less erectile dysfunction, incontinence, and bleeding than do other methods. A radical prostatectomy (removal of the prostate gland, seminal vesicles, and part of the urethra) sometimes cures prostatic cancer that has not metastasized. With cryosurgery, an incision is made in the perineum and a special tool is inserted to the area of the prostate cancer to freeze the tissue. If the surgeon removes gland tissue through an incision in the perineum, catheter drainage is through the perineal incision only.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Bulimia nervosa, known as gorge-purge syndrome, is an eating disorder characterized by loss of control during overeating, followed by purging. Typically, affected individuals rapidly eat large amounts of food, usually in secret. Following such binges, they attempt to purge their systems of food through self-induced vomiting or laxative and diuretic use. Anorexia nervosa is characterized by extreme weight loss with no underlying physical cause. Obesity is defined as being in excess of 20 of optimum weight, and enuresis is bedwetting.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
