Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
The ability of the baby to sit unsupported can be taken as readiness to start solid food. The doubling of birth weight, disappearance of the extrusion reflex, and ingestion of 32 ounces of milk daily without hunger satisfaction are the other signs of readiness for the introduction of solid food. Drinking 50 ounces of milk, appearance of extrusion reflex, and the eruption of teeth are not the signs of readiness for introduction of solid food.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
A tactile sense disorder often results from a neurologic disorder. Persons with spinal cord injuries, nerve transmission deficits, or disorders in the brain's sensory area may be unable to feel or interpret pain. Diabetes mellitus causes peripheral neuropathy with subsequent loss of sensation, especially in the extremities.

Improper use such as these can lead to a dangerous dependency on methadone. This drug now accounts for nearly one-third of opioid-related deaths.
