Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
Uroflowmetry is a noninvasive assessment of the status of micturition and generally the first test done in a urodynamic evaluation. A residual urine volume test is done to determine if the client emptied the bladder completely. A cystometrogram (CMG) is a measurement of bladder pressure during filling. A urethral pressure profile (UPP) is another way to evaluate the smooth muscle activity along the urethra.

Answer to Question 2

A
Feedback:
An ophthalmologist has received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and has completed at least 3 years of postgraduate training in diseases and surgeries of the eye. This physician is licensed to diagnose and treat eye disorders, prescribe medications, perform surgery, and fit glasses or contact lenses. An optometrist has received a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree following undergraduate and graduate studies. He or she is licensed to examine eyes, prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses, and, in many states, treat some eye diseases with medication. An optician is responsible for grinding lenses and fitting spectacles as specified by either an ophthalmologist or an optometrist. Ophthalmic technicians are certified by the Joint Commission to assist the ophthalmologist in performing tests on clients.
