Answer to Question 1

Ans: B
Feedback:
The most important event during the Reformation period for changing nursing care was the rise of Protestantism and society's change of the value placed on women. The Protestants taught that the woman was subservant to man and her place was at home having and raising children and caring for her family. The other events were all a result of the Protestantism changing society's view.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: C
Feedback:
The most important contribution is the one that is most lasting and most encompassing and Lillian Wald founded Public nursing, which still exists today. Opening Henry Street Settlement served one portion of the population in the United States, but the foundations of Public nursing served all communities. All of the other listed contributions are activities that all nurses should exhibit to help further the profession of nursing.
