Answer to Question 1

insulin

Rationale: Hyperglycemia is elevated levels of glucose in the blood due to insufficient insulin production. Insulin should be administered.

Answer to Question 2

center cell AEC

Rationale: AC joints preferably should be imaged upright to allow natural separation of AC joints due to gravity. A 72 SID will be necessary to image the bilateral joints for purpose of comparison. A 14x17 crosswise orientation will allow comparison of with out and with weights images.
