Answer to Question 1

dorsiflexed

Rationale: Dorsiflexion of the foot is necessary to better demonstrate the talocalcaneal joint. With maximum dorsiflexion, the CR can easily be directed to optimal location of the base of the third metatarsal.

Answer to Question 2

increase density

Rationale: Increases or decreases of developer solution can alter the density on the image. Increased temperatures will result in increased density and decreased temperatures will result in decreased density.
