Answer to Question 1

ANS: T
Patients with chronic renal failure may require dialysis. In hemodialysis an arteriovenous shunt or fistula is created subcutaneously in either an arm or leg to provide access to remove the waste products from the blood by a semipermeable membrane of a dialyzer.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F

If several nodes are positive for cancer, the patient is unlikely to benefit from a radical prostatectomy.
