Answer to Question 1

ANS: D
Oxygenation is essential to wound healing and inhibition of anaerobic microorganism growth. If oxygen does not circulate, the wound does not heal. Cardiovascular and respiratory insufficiency inhibits tissue perfusion.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: B
Dressing materials are soaked in saline solution, applied to the wound, and allowed to dry thoroughly. When removed, the adhering tissue layers are removed with it. This process facilitates new tissue growth.
