EO sterilization takes longer than steam sterilizing, costs more, requires expensive equipment, and can have harmful residue.

ANS: T
Because EO cannot permeate the film of lubricants, all traces of the lubricant, especially petroleum-based lubricants, must be removed before sterilization.
