Answer to Question 1

The oral mucosa cannot be used for CRT (capillary refill time), skin tenting to assess hydration status is omitted, and TPR (temperature, pulse, and respiration) is omitted because these findings may not be reliable and there are no palpable lymph nodes.

Answer to Question 2

The signalment may be unknown; the description of the cage and its location needs to be as thorough as possible; the types of toys and perches available; times out of cage; other pets in the household.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
