Intramuscular or intradermal injections given in a series of three on days 0, 7, and 21 or 28
Post-exposure vaccine for rabies:
Five intramuscular injections (much more expensive) and one rabies immune gamma globulin
(antibodies) injection over a 28-day period

Answer to Question 2

1. Small circular red ring around the tick bite
2. Measles-like eruptions or hives
3. Flu-like symptoms (many could be listed)
4. Fatigue
5. Muscle aches
